What can you expect?
Forget the chain stores and visit two of my favorite independent bookstores in Boston, Trident Booksellers & Café, and The Globe Corner Bookstore. The Trident is in one of my favorite areas of Boston, the Back Bay, right on Newbury Street, but without the pretentious feel. Where else can you get breakfast all day (apple brie omelet or lemon ricotta French toast anyone?) and find just about any obscure magazine you would want? Next we’ll ride the T to Harvard Square to another fabulous bookstore, The Globe Corner Bookstore, specializing in travel of course! Perhaps you’ll find the perfect novel set in Boston or a one by Bostonian author to complete your trip! If we don’t eat at the Trident we’ll go to Felipe’s for a burrito after visiting the Globe. Saturday and Sunday only. Price of food is not included, but the price of the "T" is.
